Operator
C2P VPN is developed and operated by SaiDigitalOps. Privacy questions may be sent to support@c2pvpn.com .
Accounts and advertising
The current version does not require an account and does not include advertising or automatic analytics.
API requests
Before connecting, the app contacts api.c2pvpn.com over HTTPS to retrieve curated volunteer-server information and OpenVPN configuration files.
Standard web-server logs may record the requesting public IP address, date and time, requested path, response status, transferred data size, and user-agent information. These logs are used for security, reliability, abuse prevention, rate limiting, and troubleshooting. They are normally rotated daily, with up to 14 rotated logs retained.
VPN traffic
The C2P VPN API does not relay your VPN traffic. Once a connection is established, covered network traffic travels directly between your device and the selected independently operated volunteer VPN server.
Volunteer VPN servers and VPN Gate systems may process or log connection or traffic metadata under their own practices. C2P VPN does not control those independent servers.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging for server-list update notifications. Firebase may process technical identifiers required to deliver those notifications.
Local diagnostics
Connection diagnostics and temporarily failed-server history may be stored locally on the device. Diagnostic information is not sent to support unless the user intentionally exports or shares it.
Downloads
Website and APK download requests may be logged for security, release measurement, reliability, and troubleshooting. A download request does not prove that the app was installed.
Future changes
This policy will be updated before enabling accounts, advertising, analytics, subscriptions, or other materially different data processing.
Anonymous installation metrics
On the first successful launch, C2P VPN generates a random installation UUID. The UUID is created by the application and is not derived from a permanent device or hardware identifier.
C2P VPN sends the random UUID together with the app version, Android version, device architecture, and distribution channel to the C2P VPN API. It also sends a limited app-launch heartbeat no more than once every 24 hours.
This information is used to estimate installations, understand which app versions remain active, verify update adoption, maintain service reliability, and prevent abuse.
The installation record does not contain your device model, Android advertising identifier, phone number, browsing history, DNS queries, destination addresses, VPN traffic content, or a permanent hardware identifier.
The random UUID remains on the device until C2P VPN is uninstalled or its application data is cleared. Clearing the application data or reinstalling the app may cause a new anonymous installation record to be created.
Installation records may be retained while the service operates so that historical installation and active-version statistics can be measured.
